People’s health is at the heart of everything we do. Apiverk is a brand of Sociedad Apícola Verkruisen, a Chilean company with over 40 years of history in the beekeeping world. It was founded by Chilean and Dutch families who saw southern Chile as the ideal place to develop noble, sustainable, and high-quality beekeeping. Since then, we have refined a model that combines tradition, innovation, and environmental awareness.

Beekeeping with Awareness
Beekeeping with Awareness is our work model and movement that promotes good beekeeping practices with a deep respect for life and the environment. We believe that to obtain healthy products, we must start with healthy hives. This apicultural model seeks to preserve the Apis mellifera species by allowing bees to live and feed as naturally as possible, without harmful interventions. At Apiverk, we foster sustainable beekeeping that guarantees health and life for the planet, reflected in three fundamental pillars: Bee Well-being: We prioritize the care of honey bees, respecting their natural cycles,
avoiding the use of chemicals in the hives, and protecting their habitat. Happy and healthy bees produce higher-quality honey and propolis, and preserving their species is part of our responsibility. Care for the Natural Environment: All our practices aim to minimize environmental impact. We promote floral diversity for regenerative beekeeping, caring for the ecosystems where we operate. Every Apiverk product is the result of clean and ecological processes, respectful of the earth and other species. Commitment to Local Communities: We work hand in hand with local beekeepers, training and supporting them to adopt this conscious model. We provide technical advice and, when they meet our ethical and quality standards, we grant them an Apiculture with Awareness certification seal. This ensures fair and collaborative treatment: beekeepers receive fair payment and recognition for their work, and our customers have the certainty that they consume products from ethical, sustainable, and responsible beekeeping.
